A substantial pair of large reclaimed iron courtyard vineyard garden gates, standing approximately 10ft high and offering impressive scale, strength and architectural presence. Made from heavy gauge solid bar metalwork, the gates are a good quality, well-proportioned pair suited to entranceways, courtyards, walled gardens and landscape projects where robust reclaimed ironwork is required.

The design has a distinctive vineyard-style character, with tall vertical ironwork and a strong practical construction. Their height and solid bar formation give the pair a commanding appearance while retaining an open, elegant profile that would work particularly well at the entrance to a garden, drive, orchard, vineyard, estate or period property.

The gates are supplied on their 2 inch box section posts, which are fitted with plates ready for fixing onto a wall, plinth or secondary posts. This makes them practical for installation while allowing flexibility depending on the final setting and required opening arrangement.

The gates have a simple peg latch is included, which could be used with either a peg or padlock depending on the intended use. The gates have a reclaimed surface finish and show the expected signs of age and outdoor use, giving them authentic character while remaining a strong and serviceable pair of large iron garden gates.

Although reclaimed, the gates have modern welded construction rather than traditional forge work, and are likely around 30 years old. Their heavy gauge materials, useful fixing posts and generous height make them an attractive option for a substantial garden entrance or architectural salvage installation.
