At the heart of Greencore Design is an appreciation for past pioneers of furniture and a celebration of that basic human need for practical everyday objects.

As is true with any good piece of clothing, a piece of furniture can evoke the same emotion, it goes deeper than the object, it’s the feeling it gives us, and the knowing that skill, craftsmanship and beautiful materials have been combined to create a tactile, desirable object that goes beyond the everyday.  Furniture with age provide a sense of soul to a room, that, when mixed with the new provide a lineage that connect us to past and present.

We’re here to find furniture that matters; matters because it deserves to live on, well made furniture that has stood the test of time ought to be used and appreciated.  Furniture reuse is a key part of our philosophy, part of the circular economy that is critical to our planet.  Our hope is that the pieces that pass through our hands continue to inspire and live on for generations.

Our Pieces

From Primitive to Neoclassical, we are always in pursuit of pieces with enduring quality, design and craftmanship.  We are not bound by age, in our collection you will find pieces from 1780 to 1980, all inspired by our key principles.

Our Promise

We believe that buying Vintage or Antique furniture should be like buying new, that is why all our pieces undergo a thorough inspection and, where necessary, repair. All of our pieces are clean and ready to use, we pride ourselves on providing the best possible customer service with many of our clients being repeat customers.

Greencore Design is a culmination of many years of collecting and salvaging old and interesting items. From our base in beautiful Mid-Wales we travel all over the UK to find interesting objects that often need a little repair and dusting off to bring them back to life. Our aim is to provide statement pieces ideal for sophisticated decorating schemes and quality antiques for interior design.

With an eye for detail and a passion for interior design, we proudly source items from 17th to 20th century which gives our collection a varied appeal.
