An old industrial battery torch light, probably a military lamp. In a great colour and now fully re-wired. The original battery lamp retains its original makers mark G.E.C. General Electric Company and from the label, this can be dated to circa 1918/1920 from historic records of the company branding.
The lamp has a handy storage compartment and retains its original hinges and clasp. The lamp also retains its original chrome flick switch but it is no longer operational as it has been replaced by a modern inline switch. A good sized lamp and a decorative piece with a great history.
The lamp has been fully re-wired and tested and is ready to use.
