A vintage pair of very well made Chinese side tables with mother of pearl inlay. These are a matching pair of good quality with perfect symmetry, unlike some of the cheaper examples, these have 8 equal segments and have excellent form and scale. In a lovely rich dark rosewood with contrasting mother of pearl inlay, the tables have a drum shape with flat circular 11.5″ (29cm) top that curve into a barrel type shape with oblong window segments leading to eight equally spaced feet.
A decorative pair that are versatile and could be used as side tables or plant stands, being a matching pair they could also work well either side of a doorway or opening to create symmetry.
Note: Because of Rosewood material, these are not available for export due to CITES declaration.
