An amazing set designed by the famous Filipino designer Clayton Tugonon for Snug, the ‘Coconut’ chair and table is made from sustainably sourced eco friendly materials.

A  very stylish, modernist design, made from salvaged coconut stems, sea shells and rattan.   A rare set and sought after 3 piece set, in this wonderful deep chestnut brown lustre.

The overall condition is very good, with some minor wear, the table has a small hairline crack (not structural) as seen in the photo, not as prominent in person.  The chairs have a solid wide footing and a very comfortable seating position with good back curvature support.

About the Design

This coco twig furniture collection by Snug is inspired by sun-soaked beaches and lazy afternoons. The amazing low-profile, Lo Rider collection features a very casual, “cushioned” look that sits on short legs, this plush-looking collection is executed in wood. This contemporary seating line by designer and artist Clayton Tugunon is hand-inlaid with coconut twigs and/or rattan, and these eye-catching patterns give it its exotic “island” modernist appeal with great texture.
