A large square vintage 1980s modern travertine coffee table in a distinctive walnut colour vein.  A heavy piece which has a large 3ft 6″ square top, featuring a moulded edge that sits on a square base.

Walnut Travertine is an Italian travertine, its texture presents swirled veins which are a mixed shade of walnut browns and greys with natural dark areas of iron inclusion.  The vein texture extend in lines but also swirl giving the appearance of ocean waves.  The surface texture is predominantly smooth but there are natural pores and holes that are not filled or sealed which provides a natural character and wonderful texture to the piece.

The piece is in very good condition, there is signs of wear to the surface which provides an authentic natural look to the piece.  The item could be re-sealed but we feel that the piece offers great character and texture in its current form.  The top and base separate for ease of moving.  The item is clean and ready for installation.
