A superb original Alfred Cox Long Sideboard in exceptional condition. In rare Brazilian Rosewood, with a maple interior, this 1960s example is Mid Century of the highest quality and not often seen in this condition. The sideboard has 4 drawers (one with cutlery insert) over two double doors opening to two large storage cupboards.
A rare opportunity to own such a piece and we are proud to have it in our portfolio.
This piece is in excellent condition, the Brazilian Rosewood has a wonderful depth of colour with no sun damage or fading.
Founded in 1956, Alfred Cox (Furniture) Ltd was a British firm employing some of the best craftsmen of their generation and used some of the most exotic woods available in their furniture to create iconic design pieces of the 1960s, their stylish designs were sold exclusively through high-end retailer such as Heals of London.
