A beautiful, reclaimed English country house sandstone garden bench seat.  A heavy piece with a substantial stone seat 43 inches long, sitting on two bolster feet.

This bench showcases the quintennial English garden piece, ruggedly carved reflecting its country house origins. The reclaimed stone not only brings a sense of history but is entirely unique, featuring distinctive markings and characterful imperfections that speak to its past. Such benches are ideal for those seeking to add a touch of traditional charm and enduring quality to their outdoor or indoor spaces.

The piece is free standing and is sturdy but would benefit from professional installation by a Landscape Gardener or Builder using mortar to securely fix the pieces in place and an adequate foundation to hold the weight.

Seat Height: 53cm  (21 inches)

A piece with wonderful character with Chiselled front face, superb moss and lichen on the surface which gives the piece its unique weathered patina that can only be created by natural formation.  Embrace the natural beauty of time-worn materials with the perfect wabi-sabi aesthetic.

Condition: in excellent sound order, the bench is one large stone sitting on two bolster feet, as photographed one foot has a small wedge like stone piece which fills a void to prevent rocking.
