A characterful tall Victorian dresser unit boasting its original glazing and beautiful red brown lacquer.  An original piece is very good order, featuring some nice detailing.

The moulded ogee cornice gives the piece a good balance and height, the rounded top corners to the glazed panels and doors provide a subtle but softer edge to the front and sets the piece apart.  The unit has good storage with large closed cupboard to the base and good depth of storage to the top glazed section with tall gaps between the shelving.  The long ogee frieze drawer in another feature we like, flanked with acanthus leaf corbels which provides a small yet decorative detail to the base unit, The square mounded plinth and bobbin feet provide a good overall feel to this piece.

The original glazing is also spectacular, sadly it cannot be appreciated in these static photos but it has that wonderful wavy uneven texture that reflects the light, plus a few small defects in the glass which gives this piece its authenticity.

A versatile item of storage that could work equally well in a kitchen or living area.  The items splits into two pieces (top/base) for ease of moving, made from pine so not a heavy piece so can be used in ground or upper floor installations.
