An impressive wrought iron fire basket with superb craftsmanship reclaimed from the Welsh Borders.

The basket features a gracefully bowed front adorned with castellated spikes, secured with skilfully forged iron rivets. The basket is bolstered on either side by solid iron bar, which is elegantly forged and embellished with a Fleur-de-lis scrolled motif and matching feet, each scroll delicately shaped.

A fantastic centrepiece for an open fire, perfect for both indoor and outdoor settings. Measuring 28 inches wide, this imposing fire basket combines functionality with rugged design, making it an ideal choice for spacious open fireplaces or cosy outdoor fireplace.

A heavy piece built to last, the base show made from one piece of 3/8 thick steel plate, showing a few old repair but perfectly usable and lifts our for cleaning.

Retaining its authentic charm, this fire basket features a natural patina with remnants of black paint and unrefined iron, adding character and age.
